Deposit/Payment Info

A deposit of 50% is required to be accepted to reserve a pup from an upcoming litter. Payment can be made by credit card (PayPal.com), money order or cashiers check (if out of state), personal check (CT residents only), wire transfer, or cash if you plan to visit us. Puppies will not be reserved or held until deposit is recieved. Balance is due upon pickup or one week prior to shipping.


Picking Your Puppy

We produce pups that are light blonde and medium golden, and occasionally have cream white and dark golden as well. You will need to select a specific litter and sex before placing your deposit. Picking will be in the order that your deposit was received. Prices vary according to coloration, sex, pedigrees, certifications, and sire and dam. Please call us at 860-742-0204 so we can get a feel for exactly what you are looking for in terms of sex, temperament, coloration, size, etc. Then we can email you some pics and specific prices. Our pups are generally show quality and have nice blocky heads, square noses, long beautiful manes and dense feathered coats. All puppies are up to date on vaccinations and worming schedules. Questions To Ask Yourself

Are you prepared to

* Take full responsibility for this dog and all its needs for the next 10-15 years? This is NOT a task that can be left to children!
* Invest the considerable time, money and patience it takes to train the dog to be a good companion? (This does not happen by itself)!
* Always keep the dog safe; no running loose, riding in the back of an open pick-up truck or being chained outside?
* Make sure the dog gets enough attention and exercise? (Golden puppies need several hours of both every day)!
* Live with shedding, retrieving, drooling and high activity for the next 10-15 years?
* Spend the money it takes to provide proper veterinary care including but certainly not limited to: vaccines, heartworm testing and preventative, spaying or neutering and annual check ups?
* Become educated about the proper care of the breed, correct training methods and how to groom? (There are many good books available. Invest the time to read a few).
* Keep the breeder informed and up to date on the dog's accomplishments and any problems that may arise?
* Take your questions to the breeder or other appropriate professional before they become problems that are out of hand?
* Have the patience to accept (and enjoy) the trials of Golden puppyhood (which can last for two or more years) and each stage afterward?
* Continue to accept responsibility for the dog despite inevitable life changes such as new babies, kids going off to school, moving or returning to work?
* Resist impulse buying and instead have the patience to make a responsible choice?
